Chuck Kirkpatrick is a Senior Vice President for Kaufman Hall’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice. He works with healthcare organizations nationwide, providing financial advisory services in the areas of fixed and variable bond financings, private bank negotiations, interest rate swaps, capital structure strategy, and credit positioning.

Chuck previously served as a Director at Ponder & Co. for the Capital Advisory Group, where he was responsible for quantitative analysis of derivative products and other financing tools.

Prior to joining Ponder & Co., Chuck had 14 years of experience working in the investment banking sector as a municipal bond trader both on the buy and dealer-side. On the buy-side, Chuck co-managed a $3 billion tender option book that was hedged with LIBOR swaps and SIFMA swaps. As a market-maker, he also hedged bonds with various financial instruments and worked with institutional clients to address their needs.

Chuck holds an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. from Texas A&M University; he is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50) and a Municipal Advisor Principal (Series 54).
