Therese Fitzpatrick has more than 40 years of healthcare experience spanning operations and policy development in local, regional, and global markets. As a leader in Kaufman Hall’s Performance Improvement practice, she helps healthcare executives assess clinical and operational performance, and develop effective strategies to enhance efficiencies and optimize staffing.

Therese’s previous positions include Principle and Practice Operations Lead for Philips Healthcare North America, Executive Vice President at Assay Healthcare Solutions and The Optime Group, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Chief Operating Officer for Northshore University Health System’s Glenbrook Hospital, and Senior Vice President and CNO at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee.

She is a regular author and speaker on clinical workforce issues. Therese holds a Ph.D. in Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a Masters in Nursing Administration from DePaul University. She was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in 2016, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
