Max Timm is a Senior Vice President at Kaufman Hall and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. A member of the Strategy and Business Transformation practice, Mr. Timm’s responsibilities focus on providing strategic advisory or facilitation support to health systems, physician groups, payers, and other vertically integrated platforms nationwide.

Mr. Timm’s area of expertise and recent experience focus on the development of meaningful payer / provider relationships. Mr. Timm has led and managed engagements that include the development of risk-based arrangements, the development of jointly owned health plan products, and planning services that enable success in an outcomes-based environment (e.g., business case development for joint investment, opportunity identification and strategy development to reduce the total cost of care).

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Mr. Timm was an Analyst at Huron Consulting Group. Mr. Timm’s experience also includes creating geospatially weighted regression models, with one analysis culminating in a manuscript that was published in the September 2015 issue of the Journal of Regional Science.

Mr. Timm holds a B.A. in Economics from Carleton College, where he graduated magna cum laude and with distinction.
