Leading Healthcare Expert Lisa Goldstein Joins Kaufman Hall

CHICAGO – Dec. 6, 2021 – Lisa Goldstein, former Associate Managing Director of Moody’s Investors Service and a leading expert in not-for-profit healthcare, is joining Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, a leading healthcare and higher education management consulting and advisory services firm, as a Senior Vice President effective Monday, Dec. 13, the company announced today.

During her tenure at Moody’s, Goldstein managed the agency’s U.S. not-for-profit healthcare ratings team; oversaw the accuracy, consistency, and monitoring of its not-for-profit hospital ratings; assessed the financial performance of healthcare organizations; and served as a Deputy Chair of Moody’s U.S. Corporate Social Responsibility effort.

Goldstein is also a leading public speaker and award-winning writer on not-for-profit healthcare, credit assessment, and other topics. Goldstein has regularly given the keynote address at national conferences; served as a guest lecturer at Harvard, New York University (NYU), and Rutgers University; and authored numerous healthcare industry research reports and articles. Among her many volunteer roles, Goldstein is a past national board member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Brandeis University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Finance, Management, and Policy from the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
