As a nationally recognized industry leader and trusted advisor to executive teams and boards for more than 30 years, Arquilla has authored thought leadership and led initiatives across clinical documentation improvement, performance turnaround, strategic sourcing and hospital profiling. He is regularly sought out to speak, provide commentary and contribute insights on clinical documentation integrity and revenue cycle transformation, and has been quoted in national media and appeared on television and radio discussing healthcare operations and financial performance.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Arquilla was a founder of Claro Healthcare and The Claro Group. He also served as a managing director at BearingPoint, where he led the firm’s global strategic sourcing and procurement and healthcare clinical documentation practices. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, leading the North American strategic sourcing and healthcare clinical documentation practices. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing consulting teams from the ground up.

Arquilla holds a bachelor of science in accountancy from the University of Illinois and serves on the board of directors of a Chicago-area health system.
