Tracey Szewczyk is a Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Clinical Solutions practice. She works with healthcare executives nationwide to assess organizational performance and identify opportunities to build efficiencies, with a focus on the portal of entry and emergency department optimization.

Tracey brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience across clinical care, operational and financial management, leadership, and performance improvement consulting. Her expertise centers on emergency department operations and workforce optimization. She remains clinically active as an emergency department registered nurse at a high-volume acute care community hospital.

Tracey previously was a Travel Nurse Leader with Skyline Med Staff in Nebraska, a Clinical Nurse with 35 Medical Group in Misawa, Japan, and a Registered Nurse and Officer with the United States Air Force. She also held multiple leadership roles at West Chester Hospital – UC Health including serving as Emergency Services/Trauma Director and Administrative Director of Obstetrics Services.

Tracey earned her M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix, her B.S. in Nursing from York College of Pennsylvania, and completed Cornell University’s Executive Healthcare Leadership Certificate Program. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Certified Lean Healthcare Professional (CLHP).
