Jim Sabolik

Jim is a Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Revenue & Operations Improvement (ROI) practice. His 27-year experience spans many healthcare industry business sectors, including national payers, accountable care organizations (ACO), hospitals and physicians, with an emphasis on strategic planning, revenue cycle, financial analysis and contract rate negotiations. Jim has managed some of the market’s most significant provider networks, representing $5B+ in annual revenue, and led the Commercial and Medicare Network teams at Aetna, CIGNA, and Humana in the nation’s 4th largest Managed Care market.

Jim has worked with adult and children’s hospitals, including academic medical centers, large multi-hospital health systems and many integrated delivery systems. He has helped clients optimize traditional payer contracts, payment yield, price transparency, risk-sharing, population health and quality incentive programs.

Jim is based in Dallas and holds a BBA in finance/insurance from Baylor University. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
