Jake Aygun is a Senior Vice President for Kaufman Hall’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He works with a variety of healthcare clients, providing merger, acquisition, and other partnership advisory services primarily to not-for-profit healthcare providers on both acute and non-acute care businesses (e.g., labs, senior living, behavioral health).

Jake has more than 19 years of investment banking and corporate development experience and has advised on a broad range of capital market and strategic transactions, with a focus on strategic options assessments and assists in transaction development and execution processes. In addition, he has prepared capital structure assessment reports covering risk assessment, cash flow expectations, credit and valuation analysis.

Jake previously served as a Director at Ponder & Co. for the M&A Group, where he was responsible for transaction management, evaluating the financial performance of hospitals and healthcare systems, and performing market analysis and valuations.

Jake holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and was honored with Cum Laude distinction.
