Daniel Mujica is Chief of Staff, SVP of Management Consulting Operations at Kaufman Hall, with a focus on revenue cycle and performance improvement optimization. His responsibilities include managing and leading various healthcare engagements, and ensuring that clients and project teams generate positive outcomes. Mr. Mujica partners with hospital and health system executives across the nation to improve their organizations’ overall financial performance, technology utilization, and clinical operations. He advocates for detailed metrics, and consistent and streamlined processes to drive data-driven decisions that are quantitative, sustainable, and accurate.

Mr. Mujica’s experience spans all aspects of the revenue cycle and various clinical operations functions. Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, he was a Managing Consultant at Navigant Consulting/Guidehouse, where he led numerous revenue cycle process improvement and technology optimization engagements. Mr. Mujica was also responsible for leading the reinvigoration of Navigant’s internal consulting methodology, business development, and project management functions. Additionally, he served as a client interim revenue cycle executive, assuming client and consulting leadership responsibilities.

His previous experience includes serving as a Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant at The Advisory Board Company, and a Project Manager/Consultant at B. E. Smith. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mujica was an Administrative Resident for UNC Health, focused on supporting various senior leadership initiatives.

Mr. Mujica holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Leadership from the University of Kansas. He holds Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification and various Lean Six Sigma designations.
