Connor Loftus is a Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Revenue and Operations Improvement (ROI) practice. He partners with hospitals and health systems to identify and implement changes that optimize operational performance and financial margin. Mr. Loftus’s areas of expertise include end-to-end revenue cycle operations, patient status determination, observation management, denials prevention and management, HR benefits and pharmacy strategy.

Mr. Loftus has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare management and strategy consulting. Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, he spent his career at Claro Healthcare, most recently as a Senior Manager in the Performance Improvement practice. In that role, he also worked with providers to address challenges facing their organizations.

Mr. Loftus earned a B.A. in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and holds a Fellow of HFMA designation and Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certifications. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder, as designated by the CFA Institute.
