Bobby Bruning is a Vice President with Kaufman Hall’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice. He provides analytical, quantitative, and strategic support, primarily for not-for-profit hospitals and health systems nationwide. Bobby focuses on bond financings, derivative transactions, merger integrations, capital structure management, credit positioning, and investment platform optimization, including advisor selection.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Bobby was an Associate Director with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where he focused on debt issuances, project financings, and restructurings for a range of clients, from highly rated public entities to high-yield new credits. His previous experience also includes three years with the Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking group of Raymond James.
Bobby holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago, an M.B.A from Southern Methodist University, and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Arkansas.
