Ashleigh Kervel is a Senior Associate at Kaufman Hall with over 10 years of clinical experience as a physician assistant. Ashleigh oversees the development and implementation of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Transition to Practice (TTP) program at healthcare organizations. She also coordinates the APP Advisory Group, leading regular networking calls and collaborating closely with APP leadership. Her work is grounded in data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and measurable outcomes.
She currently serves as a board member of the AAPA Physician Assistant Foundation, helping to shape the future of the profession through advocacy and service. Ashleigh has practiced clinically for the past decade in pediatric emergency medicine, first in Dallas, Texas, and more recently in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where she now resides. She played an active role in the design and implementation of electronic medical records (EMRs) with Epic and is a certified Epic Physician Builder Analyst. Her joy with this work led her to obtain certification as a Lean Healthcare provider. She also formerly chaired the Advanced Practice Council, where she led monthly collaborative meetings to promote knowledge sharing and professional development among advanced practice providers (APPs).
