Software Will Provide Health System With Benchmarking Data and Advanced Analytics to Manage Clinical Performance

Kaufman Hall Software is now Syntellis Performance Solutions

SKOKIE, Ill. – August 13, 2018 – Kaufman Hall, a leading provider of enterprise performance management and decision support software and management consulting services, announced today that Pensacola, FL-based Baptist Health Care has selected its Peak Software system to provide benchmarking data and advanced analytics to help the organization manage clinical performance and maintain strong quality and patient satisfaction ratings.

Through initiatives like its Process Improvement Fundamentals program, Baptist Health Care has earned a reputation as one of the leading health systems in the state of Florida. The organization’s strong commitment to quality and patient satisfaction is reflected in its participation in the Mayo Clinic Care Network as well as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recent five-star rating of Gulf Breeze Hospital, which is a part of the Baptist Health Care network. Gulf Breeze Hospital was only one of five hospitals in the state and the only hospital in Northwest Florida to earn five stars.

Baptist Health Care joins a growing list of organizations, including Franciscan Health, Greater Hudson Valley Health System, SCL Health System, Sharp Healthcare, the University of Vermont Health Network, and University Medical Center-Lubbock, which are using Peak to support the delivery of high-value care.

Peak provides clients with a powerful, cloud-based platform that enables them to identify the root causes of suboptimal clinical performance that require corrective action. Armed with the ability to simultaneously access utilization, quality, patient satisfaction, cost data, and benchmarks to internal and external best-practice care, executives can quickly recognize underperforming areas to which attention should be directed and engage clinicians with credible and accurately attributed data and analytics.

Implementation of the Peak system at Baptist Health Care began in mid June and is expected to be completed by mid September. Once complete, the organization will have access to more than 50 percent of all U.S. encounter data, including 2,300 comparative measures and more than 2,000 standard peer groups.
