Approximately 200,000 unique patients received care at Lurie Children’s in 2016, traveling from 50 U.S. states and 46 countries worldwide, and accounting for nearly 700,000 total patient visits. Providing care for these patients is a staff of 1,500 nurses and nearly 1,450 physicians and allied health professionals in 70 subspecialties.
