He has over 30 years of experience in serving clients in the healthcare industry as well as other industries in both the public and private sector. He is a recognized and proven leader in Clinical Documentation, Revenue Cycle and Hospital operations consulting for the U.S. healthcare provider market. He has deep experience in assisting clients with strategy development, executive coaching, enterprise-wide cost reduction, payor strategy, quality improvement and hospital profiling.

Venny also has extensive experience in healthcare performance improvement consulting. His experience includes work in clinical documentation improvement, turnaround, bankruptcy, outpatient reimbursement, charge capture, working capital management, receivables acceleration, strategic sourcing, various areas of hospital operations He has worked with over 300 healthcare providers ranging from small rural facilities to large urban academic medical centers to multi-hospital health systems.

Venny has been the lead on teams that have helped realize over $4 billion in annual financial impact to clients. He is a recognized expert in strategic sourcing and has spoken extensively, been quoted, and has made various media (television and radio) appearances on the topics of healthcare clinical documentation and other areas of the Revenue Cycle. Prior to Claro Healthcare, Venanzio was a founder of The Claro Group with responsibility for the Healthcare practice.He was also a Managing Director at BearingPoint and led the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement practice as well as the Healthcare Clinical Documentation Practice. Prior to BearingPoint, he was a Partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he led the North American Strategic Sourcing Practice and the Healthcare Clinical Documentation Practice.Venanzio has built high performing consulting teams from the ground up for the past 25 years.

Venny holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. He also serves on the Board of Directors of a Chicago area health system.
