Jim Pizzo directs Kaufman Hall’s Physician Advisory practice. He leads operational, strategic, financial, and capital planning engagements, as well as merger and acquisition transactions for physician practices across the country.
Jim has more than 35 years of healthcare consulting experience. His areas of expertise include physician growth planning, hospital-physician integration strategy, physician work-effort allocation, physician performance optimization, and physician-related partnerships and joint ventures. Prior to Kaufman Hall, he held leadership positions at Accenture, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Ernst & Young LLP, and Ernst & Whinney.
Jim regularly speaks on current healthcare trends for professional industry groups, such as the American Hospital Association, the Medical Group Management Association, and The Governance Institute. He holds an M.B.A., with concentrations in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Chicago.
