Disha Venkatesan is a Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Higher Education practice based in Charlottesville. Disha project focus is on program revenue growth and diversification. She works on aligning people, processes, and technology for remarkable transformation. Leveraging creative partnerships to strengthen institutional business model and strategy.

Ms. Venkatesan brings over 20 years of industry and consulting experience to her client work. Over the course of her career, Disha has worked with higher education presidents, boards, and C-suite executives to achieve exceptional performance. She is particularly passionate to use change management for sustainable growth of institutions. Apart from her client work, Disha has spoken at conferences including NACUBO, SACUBO, and EACUBO.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Ms. Venkatesan held numerous senior positions at the University of Virginia. She led initiatives related to strategic planning, change management, and worked with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of multimillion-dollar projects.

Ms. Venkatesan’s previous experience includes more than 10 years in the private sector, overseeing budgeting, corporate strategic planning, and customer analytics for Fortune 500 companies. She received her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Virginia and her M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
