He has expertise in innovative capitalization planning, bond issuance, derivative transactions, risk and resource allocation, and asset and liability management. David’s recent focus is advancing client’s enterprise risk and resource allocation strategies, and orchestrating suitable investment platforms, including advisor selection. He routinely contributes articles and presentations on these topics.

David also directs the development and delivery of Kaufman Hall's Financial Advisor™ Portal (”FA Portal"), providing organizations with capital structure analytics and management tools. Prior to Kaufman Hall, he was an investment banker for Citigroup’s healthcare finance group.

David has an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
