With more than 25 years of healthcare finance and software experience, Daniel Seargeant leads the functional design, software requirements, and enablement of the decision support and cost accounting solutions. Working with Kaufman Hall leaders and clients, he establishes release priorities and advises on planning, implementing, and leveraging decision support systems to improve performance across the care continuum.
Prior to Kaufman Hall, Dan served as Chief Financial Officer for a large non-profit outpatient community health organization, and a for-profit statewide managed care organization. His experience with decision support systems, cost accounting systems, and related consulting includes working as Director of Product Planning at Avega Health System, Inc., and as a Senior Consulting Manager with Health Care Microsystems, Inc.

Dan holds a Dr.P.H. and an M.B.A., with an emphasis in Finance and Information Technology, both from the University of California, Los Angeles.
