Kris Blohm is a Senior Vice President at Kaufman Hall and a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice. In this capacity, Mr. Blohm advises clients on a broad range of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, as well as partnerships.
Mr. Blohm has more than 15 years of healthcare financing and strategic advisory transaction experience. Prior to Kaufman Hall, he was an Executive Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Stifel Nicolaus. In that role, Mr. Blohm was responsible for new business origination, client management, and the execution of corporate finance and M&A assignments in the healthcare services, healthcare information technology, and medical technology sectors.
Prior to Stifel, Mr. Blohm was a Vice President at Cowen and Company where he led the day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as equity and debt transactions for Cowen’s corporate healthcare clients. Mr. Blohm also worked as an Associate at Galen Partners, a private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing principal investments and leveraged buyouts across a variety of healthcare sectors. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Société Générale, a French multinational bank.
Mr. Blohm holds an M.A. in Accounting and a B.S.M. in Finance from Tulane University.
