Glenn Wagner is a Senior Vice President of Kaufman Hall’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice. He focuses on helping hospitals and health systems nationwide develop and implement capital finance plans aimed at reducing risks and costs. Mr. Wagner’s primary expertise is assisting with client management of credit strategies in capital formation.
Mr. Wagner has more than 35 years of healthcare capital financing experience, having advised or been a banker on bond transactions exceeding $19 billion. Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, he spent 17 years working as an investment banker and a credit strategy advisor for non-profit healthcare with Morgan Stanley’s investment banking and credit research groups.
Early in his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Wagner was a research analyst on that firm’s trading desk. He was named by Institutional Investor Magazine as First Team, All-American Healthcare Analyst for seven consecutive years. Mr. Wagner’s previous experience includes positions with other securities and consulting firms, and Standard & Poor's Ratings Services, where he directed the non-profit healthcare ratings group.
Mr. Wagner holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a B.A. with honors from Drew University.
