David Ratliff, a Senior Vice President of Kaufman Hall, is a member and manager of the firm’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice, specializing in bond issuance, derivatives transactions, and capital structure management. Mr. Ratliff’s expertise includes financial risk management and innovative capitalization planning. Much of his work involves leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve a comprehensive solution, including enterprise risk framing or analytic technology.
Mr. Ratliff directs the development, marketing, and delivery of Kaufman Hall’s Financial Advisor (FA) Portal. FA Portal is a leading-edge website providing organizations with capital structure analytics and management tools to foster efficient management of capitalization resources.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Mr. Ratliff was an investment banker for Citigroup’s healthcare finance group, where his responsibilities included debt and derivative transactions, strategic advisory engagements, and innovative funding solutions including pension prefunding.
Mr. Ratliff has an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Florida, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
