Courtney Midanek

Courtney Midanek is a leader in Kaufman Hall’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice, with more than 20 years of experience in capital markets, valuations, and M&A. She provides partnership advisory services for a variety of healthcare clients in both acute and non-acute care.

Prior to Kaufman Hall, Courtney was in the Business Expansion Group of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, where she supported strategic asset and partnership initiatives. She previously held various roles in the Corporate Development Group at BMO Capital Markets, and began her career as an industry generalist in the M&A advisory group of Robert W. Baird & Co. 

Courtney is a frequent speaker at industry events, and has published numerous articles and reports on a variety of healthcare topics, including hospital mergers and acquisitions, and partnerships between health systems and laboratory services providers. She holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, with concentrations in Finance, Management, and Strategy.
