Markus Goodrich is a Managing Director in Kaufman Hall’s Strategy and Business Transformation practice. His responsibilities include providing financial and capital planning support for a variety of healthcare organizations, including multi-state health systems, academic medical centers, and stand-alone community providers. His areas of expertise include strategic financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic financial services.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Mr. Goodrich was an Associate at Lazard Frères & Co. in Chicago, where he advised on various merger and acquisition projects and led valuation and financial analyses for companies in multiple industries, including agriculture, retail and consumer, automotive, and industrial markets. Before this, Mr. Goodrich was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at the Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C., where he managed the company’s budget and margin projections, among other responsibilities. He started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse in New York. 

Mr. Goodrich holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Iowa. He is a CFA® charterholder.
