Eb LeMaster is a Managing Director for Kaufman Hall’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He works with a variety of healthcare clients, providing merger, acquisition, and other partnership advisory services primarily to not-for-profit healthcare providers on both acute and non-acute care businesses (e.g., labs, senior living, behavioral health).

Eb has more than 25 years of investment banking and corporate development experience. His corporate finance track record includes 200+ M&A transactions, strategic options assessments, public equity and debt offerings and private placements totaling more than $5 billion. He also has experience serving in corporate development leadership for a multi-state acute care system, where he focused on acute care and behavioral acquisitions, physician joint ventures and healthcare real estate projects.

Eb previously served as a Managing Director at Ponder & Co., where he focused on strategic advisory engagements on behalf of not-for-profit and government-owned hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers across the country in a wide array of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority equity investments, and healthcare real estate monetizations. His experience includes engagements in a wide range of healthcare sub-sectors, including acute care, senior living, behavioral health, labs, revenue cycle management and others. Eb frequently works with clients on the assessment and evaluation of strategic options and valuations. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Nashville Health Care Council.

Eb holds an M.B.A. and bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
