Chris Schoeplein is a Senior Vice President for Kaufman Hall’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He works with a variety of healthcare clients, providing merger, acquisition, and other partnership advisory services primarily to not-for-profit healthcare providers on both acute and non-acute care businesses (e.g., labs, senior living, behavioral health).

Chris brings more than 10 years of experience including strategy and management consulting in non-for-profit healthcare systems and a focus in strategic options assessments. He previously focused on joint venture development, mergers and acquisitions, capital planning, and financial feasibility studies concentrating in financial modeling customized to individual client strategy and positioning.

Chris previously served as a Managing Director at Ponder & Co. for the M&A Group, where he was responsible for evaluating the financial performance of hospitals and healthcare systems, performing market analyses, and developing financial models and valuations for clients and prospects.

Chris holds a B.S. in Finance from St. Louis University and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
